CBT can be a cost
effective method for self-paced training of new employees, or as
refresher training for existing personnel. Tri-Tech believes
CBT is not as effective as traditional classroom and field training
performed by qualified instructors using Training Manuals. Although
the CBT format could potentially be developed to reach the same effectiveness,
the cost to develop the CBT to this level would far outweigh its
benefit.
Tri-Tech's approach is to develop CBT modules AFTER fully detailed,
technically accurate Training Manuals and Procedures have been developed
for the facility. CBT can then be cost effectively developed
to address employee turnover and refresher training requirements.
CBT incorporates the technical information, operating procedures,
actual plant pictures and video clips, practice quizzes, tests, and
record keeping features. This application can be local PC,
intranet, or internet based. The
