On-Site Instruction |
Quality,
on-site instruction of a site-specific Training
Manual is
the fastest, most effective way to train a group of personnel. Tri-Tech
combines well qualified instructors, with the latest techniques in
classroom instruction, and in-plant walkdowns
of the equipment and systems to provide some of the best training
in the industry.

|
Our instructors present the technical material
from an Operator/Maintenance Technician's perspective, not from
a vendor engineer's perspective. We have found this approach
provides the best results time after time. Tri-Tech is often
asked to come back after equipment vendors to repeat training on
their equipment in this different manner.
|
Approximately 2/3 of the typical
course is instructed in a formal classroom setting. Powerpoint
slide shows are used to
highlight key points and show digital pictures of plant equipment
and other useful illustrations. An overhead projector is used
to project a drawing, such as P&ID on a whiteboard, so the flowpaths
can be traced in color and notes made. Trainees make notes
in their own copies of the drawings and Training Manual. |

|
 |
|
The other 1/3 of the training course is typically
spent in the plant, walking down the systems and equipment that was
discussed in the classroom. Reading P&ID's and One-Line Diagrams
is stressed in the classroom, then all equipment and instrumentation
is physically located in the plant. |
