Tri-Tech is proud to be Certified as an IACET Authorized Provider and able to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for our Training Courses.

Tri-Tech is authorized by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) to provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for our training courses. Our specific approach to training has been scrutinized and approved by this organization as a complete and thorough way to design, develop, and implement training programs; specifically to power plant personnel.

CEUs can be used by Professional Engineers requiring continuing education, by personnel contemplating college entry or re-entry, or by personnel attempting to improve their own standing in the industry through approved and documented technical training.

General Information:

• CEUs are awarded as follows:

  • 0.1 CEU for 1 training contact hour provided the Trainee achieves at least 75% on the final examination or post test.
  • Training contact hours do not include indirect course time such as testing, breaks, and lunch.
  • A typical 2 week (10 day), 8-hour/per day course will typically yield 5.5 CEUs.
  • Trainees must register with the Instructor prior to the training program instruction to be awarded CEUs. CEUs can not be awarded retroactively.
• Each Trainee who successfully completes the course requirements will receive a Course Completion Certificate suitable for framing, and a letter affirming the issuance of CEUs.
